Staging Systems
|
|
|
|
|
Stage Support Services / LCM Group
utilise two staging systems.
Firstly "Steel
Deck" stage units;
Available in various sizes, and constructed
in a modular fashion, steel deck has become "THE"
stage manufacture the world over - often immitated, rarely
beaten.
Generally utilized as 8x4 stage units
(although available in a wide variety of rectangular, circular
and triangular stage pieces) this system quickly and simply
builds up into as large or small stage as you require.
|

|
|
| |
We use exclusively
Steel Deck staging units. There are currently products on the
market which claim to do the same, or better than the Steel
Deck products..... but with a loading capacity of over 2.2 tonnes
on four legs, or 3 tonnes on six legs - there are none that
are as strong! |
|
|
|
|
|
The second staging system
we use is the Layher "All round"
system. This system is very good at producing multi - layer
structures, such as Front of house towers, PA wings or structured
tunnels. It is also particularly good at producing odd shapes
on ground that is less than flat. We have successfully utilized
the Layher All round system to produce such diverse structures
as a marquee and pier in the middle of a lake and as a platform
for a stage in the middle of a sandy beach - complete with
all the inherent fixing issues that this entails.
|
|
|
| |
|
|
By using only the best that the industry
has to offer, we are confident that there is no stage or
tempory structure that we cannot produce quickly, safely
and expediently.
All of our crew are fully trained
in the use of our systems, allowing you to book us and then
relax and let us exceed your expectations.

Steeldeck® Platforms are the basic
building blocks of the theatre and entertainment industries.
They have been copied and imitated
over the years - and some even look very similar... but NONE
match genuine STEELDECK in quality and performance. Our Steeldeck®
platforms are mainly the work-horse of the range -the 'Arena'
deck - with its cruciform internal framing spreading the maximum
2.2 tonnes capacity through three longitudinal members giving
it all the necessary strength, to an extraordinary 7.5kN/m2.
|

|
|
| |
The other main
type of Steeldeck® Platform is the 'Rentals' type. These decks
are '6-leggers' - with an extra pair of leg sockets in the centre,
and they have 'shrouded' corners, which protect the corner of
the plywood. When used with 4 legs, they are rated to 7.5kN/m2,
but when used with 6 legs, their capacity can increase to a
staggering 10kN/m2... more than enough. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Our stock levels have continually increased
over the years, we now carry in stock and available to hire
high levels of both the standard
sizes of Steel Deck stage platforms and the more esoteric
circular and triangular
stage platforms, ensuring that we have the ability to create
exactly the stage platform you require;
Outdoor stages, indoor stages, conference
platforms, exhibitions, swimming pool fill in etc - whatever
your requirement, we have the stock and the expertise to fullfill
your every desire.

Event Systems Stages and podiums
From concerts and shows to sporting
events, the Layher Event Systems of stages, platforms and
seating is purpose-designed to meet highly demanding application
requirements. Stairways, designed to provide safe access and
egress from a site, ensure that the full range of temporary
installation needs can be fulfilled by the Event Systems range.
Centred on the original Layher Allround®
Scaffolding - which gains significantly from the proven and
highly versatile rosette connection system - the range of
stands, stages and platforms can accommodate uneven and difficult
ground conditions. Event stages, platforms and podiums as
well as spectator access systems and seating modules can all
be incorporated into a design as required.
|

|
|
| |
Virtually limitless
options exist both to extend laterally and also to accommodate
a variety of roof and support systems. High load-bearing capacity
up to 7.5 kN/m2 combines with rapid assembly and dismantling
which can clearly be key issues in the event management industry.
With entire structures able to be broken down into palletised
units, simple transportation is also assured. |
|
|
|
|
|
A vast range of options is also opened
up by 'universal parts' which include, for example, the
widest choice of 450mm and 750mm steel and alloy beams,
tri-beams for lighting, rigging and gantry struts, couplers,
flat roof edge protection and advanced guard rails. Site
and public access stairtowers can be specified to complement
the staging and seating range. Up to eight different options
are available which can offer either 1.5 or 2 metre lift
heights in a variety of widths to suit a wide range of internal
and external site requirements.

|
|
| |
Grandstands and seating
Economical, versatile and comfortable
- whether located outdoors or indoors, the range of temporary
seating options always meets these vital criteria. Designed
to work in conjunction with Layher stages, platforms and access
stairways, the full range of temporary seat installations
needs can be met with proven equipment.
|
|
|
|
|
Grandstand platforms can be built
with or without seats allowing either free-standing or fitted
options to be specified. Variants such as benches - which
provide for maximum capacity - and bucket or folding seats
can also be selected with clip mechanisms used extensively
for rapid, safe assembly. The Event System transom support
ensures that each 2.75 metre bay has a 7.5 kNm² load bearing
capacity.
The Layher temporary seating range
means there are virtually no restrictions on comfort, dimensions
or location possibilities with a vast number of temporary
and semi-permanent, re-usable seating projects completed
worldwide as testimony.
